In response to the world issues of plastics pollution, Kingerlee have formed a plastics reduction group to investigate and instigate initiatives into our business.
We have initially taken some small steps into a global subject to play our part in Environmental awareness within the construction industry.
Kingerlee Joinery are protecting all of their deliveries with recyclable card and paper packaging. We have ditched the plastic milk bottles (approx 850 pints to our head office) and are purchasing recyclable glass pint bottles. Sites are using glasses and water jugs rather than single use plastic bottles.
We have also registered to the National Hard Hat Recycling scheme to ensure that all of Kingerlee and their contractors recycle in an ethical manner.
We are continuing with our efforts and are encouraging all members of staff to participate in this very important subject.
